Let me start from someone else complaints: do you really want a TV set when staying in Maldives? Please just go outside your room and enjoy the beauty of the nature, during night time enjoy stars and Milky Way... your TV set is waiting at your home when you'll come back... and I can promise you, you will miss the peace and beauty of Maldives. That said, I've been several times to Maldives so far in different atolls and resorts: all were somehow good or great, but what I can say about Coco Palm Dhuni is that is most eco-friendly and maldivian-style place to stay. You may look for larger resorts, with pools (pool in Maldives? Seriously?) and more amenities, but you won't feel the real pleasure of staying in a natural place which respects the environment and its roots. Second highlight: you have there the Olive Ridley marine turtle center which is really, really nice. They take care of unlucky turtles with passion and love! Third: swim in the lagoon and 99% you'll meet a turtle there! I'm posting a picture done with my camera because no kidding here and no fake review. Unfortunately corals are not much alive around, so if you're looking for diving or snorkeling you may need to have a daily trip in other better places, but I can assure there are enough nice fishes to see, including some clownfish (remember Finding Nemo...). The room was clean, cleaned twice a day (almost during breakfast, lunch or dinner to not disturb). In my room I had a Nespresso coffee machine with free refill and also water. Overwater villas may look silly in the pictures, but I can tell they are very nice and the wood makes you feel more close to nature. Who wants all the concrete in a natural paradise?!? All the staff is friendly, smiling and helpful. Food is good enough and with different options every day, if you stay 2 weeks it may look repetitive but after all you're not there just to eat, right?

This was a bucket list, 50th birthday treat and was everything I hoped for and more! The staff were fantastic-from arrival in Male, to seaplane, to boat arrival at coco palm, and every day until we left! Service was exceptional and everyone greeted you with a smile and how are you. It felt very genuine too and not forced. Highlights were our amazing lagoon villa which was maintained daily by Kashim (he added extras for my birthday too!) and the lovely Saeed at the restaurant who noticed small things like how I liked my tea! The turtle sanctuary was informative and the volunteers were just lovely and even the gift shop owner was great to talk to. And I swam with a reef shark and a stingray who were just hanging out in the lagoon! Wow!

Excellent resorts, excellent service. I recommend for families, couples or who loves the nature. We stayed at the Lagoon Villa for four nights with all inclusive, service was amazing, as a complementary they gave sunset cruise tour, diving and massage. Housekeeping cleaning is fabulous, they will clean your room two time per day. They provide both European and Asian cuisine at the main dinning cowrie restaurant with many live station and food are really delicious. All the staffs are polite, friendly and very helpful, especially hostess (Nepal lady from cowrie restaurant), Abul (Bangladesh waiter from sunset bar) and also all the waiters. Our stay was pleasant, for sure in the future we will return again.

From the moment you land on the little bobbing platform by sea plane - ( from which I spotted dolphins ) now my favourite airport in the world - I was charmed. It’s truly idyllic. Turquoise water surrounds the little Island bordered by white sand and fringed with tropical vegetation. The rustic thatched villas nestle among the shrubbery unobtrusively and make it feel at one with the island rather than imposed upon it. it’s paradise! Barefoot for the duration ( except for coral shoes) - you wander around the island either through the shaded paths or around the beaches and can’t help but feel the peace of the place. I’ve never in all my travels - ( pretty extensive) - scored a perfect 10 !

The resort is an ecofriendly example. The nature is so well reserved which is difficult to find nowadays at Maldives. It feels like nothing is manmade. The facilities and the rooms are super comfortable and without hilarious overluxury. The place is not packed with tourists. There is always some space to feel the nature and on your own. The breakfast and the food was so nice and tasty with a lot of choices. The excursions are well organized and the guys very helpful and dedicated. The staff was always there to assist and they seem to be happy to work there. We hope we come back the soonest.
